The African Alliance Africa Pioneer Master Fund, AAAPMF, has invested in support of the MBO of Syngenta’s crop protection business in Côte d’Ivoire. AAAPMF is an open-ended investment fund quoted on the Irish Stock Exchange managed by African Alliance, a South African-based investment banking group. It makes listed and unlisted investments in Africa outside of South Africa.
Formerly a wholly-owned subsidiary of Syngenta Crop Protection AG of Switzerland, a world leader in the field of crop protection and seed production, RMG Côte d’Ivoire was acquired by a team of former senior managers.
The deal that gives RMG exclusive distribution rights to Syngenta Crop Protection’s range of crop protection products throughout seventeen countries in francophone West Africa which it supplies from its formulation plant in Abidjan.
Under the terms of the deal, RMG continues to receive significant Research & Development , marketing and patent protection support from Syngenta Crop Protection.
African Alliance is an investment banking group operating in Africa. They provide local and on-the-ground investment banking services across the African continent.
