There has certainly been no shortage of news in 2008 and the first part of 2009, both about the telecoms sector and the state of the world’s economy. And here at Delta Partners, we feel that this year it is finally going to be different for the South African telecoms industry. “There is a confluence of factors in 2009, which is set to turn the industry around – allowing for a ‘new breed’ of operators to emerge,” states Josep Moya, partner of Delta Partners.
